Smudge Ink

At 27, I founded a letterpress printing and paper goods company – Smudge Ink, co-led it for 14 years and successfully exited in 2016. We made letterpress greeting cards and many other paper products and sold them through a network of sales reps all over the world.

Smudge Ink still exists today under new ownership.

My Role: I wore so many hats in this role. From taking out the garbage (yes, you read that correctly) and how to rig and operate a Heidelberg press to overseeing production, fulfillment, human resources, sales, design and brand strategy.
